Tree Service Algona

We have lived at our home now for 41 years. We first used Dalton Tree Services 10 or 15 years ago, and have never used anyone else. They always do excellent work and clean up so you would never know they had been here, except for the removed, groomed, or thinned out trees. Post Derecho and during COVID, like everyone else in this business, there was more demand than capacity, but if we needed something, we just told him to come whenever and didn't request instant response. He always caught up with us. Saw the one star review. How can you give a review if you were never a customer? We would rate Dalton Tree Service higher if we could.

We lost an enormous branch from our oak during a storm that knocked down trees and branches all over Johnson County. I’m sure Seth’s phone was ringing off the hook, but he was really understanding about the safety risk that the hanging branch posed for our toddler, so he made time to look at our tree. After examining the entire tree, not just the injured part, Seth thought the safest course of action would be to remove it. He and his team did an excellent job, and they were as conscientious about cleaning up as they were about cutting down the 70-foot oak. I can’t recommend Total Tree Care of Iowa City highly enough.

Seth and his great crew spent an entire day in our driveway along with their enormous crane, gigantic shredder, and two other trucks. They worked very efficiently and with such expertise, and seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. When they left, they had removed 4 large trees, half of another, and had pruned at least 20 others. They barely took time to eat some Girl Scout cookies. When they left, the place was raked thoroughly, blown clean and one would never have known they were there. The bill, you'll be interested to know, was exceptionally reasonable. What an amazing experience. Do not hesitate to use his services.
